THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The BJP on Wednesday called for a bandh in Palakkad district in Kerala to protest the daylight murder of RSS worker Ranjith.
Ranjith was murdered inside a private bus by unknown assailants in Puthussery near Palakkad.
Ranjith, who hails from Kanjikode in Palakkad district, was hacked to death by the assailants who had followed the bus and were reportedly armed with sharp edged weapons.
Ranjith was taken to a hospital in Puthussery where he was declared brought dead.
